It seems silly of us all, maybe even a little funny that someone's creation brought a whole bunch of people together. But if you think about it deeply I don't think it's silly at all, typing about this comes from my gut. And I sincerely hope and do wish that somehow, someway everyone that misses this game gets to play it again someday.
This game has helped me and I'm pretty sure others subconsciously, whether or not they like to admit it, on how to empathically and correctively treat people with moral respect and kindness with self awareness: How your words and actions can effect other people's words and actions, how they affect other people's emotions, and the outcomes of your relationships. It's taught me not to take anyone for granted, because you never know what tomorrow will bring, It's taught me to not hide my sexuality in the darkness but to be open because I might hurt the one I love. It's taught me to see the hurt behind someone's witty and sarcastic jokes. To recognize and acknowledge that everyone has a story, no matter what their story may look like on the cover: the inside of them is completely different. Everyone has a right to own and tell their story. Everyone story is worthy of being heard and told. That everyone has a right to be heard for the reasoning as to why they act out they way they do. Not everyone is as they appear to be. Everything is literally not what it seems. And with being only 11 yrs old when first playing this game, It's honestly and most importantly taught me how to deal with bullies and how to stand up for myself and others as well.
